Biography
Rajeev Varma can be seen as Hasmukh in Brown Nation on Netflix and is also currently appearing on Inside on Prime TV. You can spot him in the new ANZ ad campaign on billboards and bus stops.
He appeared on Broadway in Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Indian Ink by Tom Stoppard. He also appeared in Seattle Reps production of Kate Hamill’s Pride and Prejudice as Mr Bennet and Charlotte for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Gregory Awards. He has also played Watson in Holmes and Watson at the Alley Theater in Texas.
Raj is one half of Those Indian Guys. Their award winning one-man show “D’Arranged Marriage” has toured seven countries over ten years. Raj produced and starred in it Off-Broadway at the Triad Theater in Manhattan for 2 years.
New Zealand TV credits include 1000 Apologies, NZ’s first prime time Indo-Asian sketch comedy show, The Millen Baird Show and The Blue Rose.
US TV credits include Xena: Warrior Princess, Young Hercules and Cleopatra 2525.
